Founded in 1818, Ohio City is one of Cleveland’s oldest neighborhoods. Located just minutes from Downtown Cleveland with Lake Erie as it’s northern boundary, W 25th St. to the east, W 45th St. to the west, and Lorain Avenue to the south. Today, the area is filled with historic homes, new construction, trendy restaurants, and eclectic shops and art galleries.
Featured in the photo above is the West Side Market’s iconic clock tower that adorns the 100-year-old public market. A destination shopping trip for many, daily stop for restaurants and an experience not to be missed. Vendors of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, flowers, spices, fresh pasta and just about everything you can imagine can be found here. Close to the market you will find numerous trendy restaurants, galleries and free outdoor concerts in the summer and a Sunday seasonal street market.
